The HY-9050 thermally conductive potting silicone is a two-component addition-cure liquid silicone rubber specifically designed for potting protection and thermal management of energy storage system battery modules. More importantly, HY-9050 has passed UL94 V-0 flame retardancy certification, the highest level of flame retardancy for plastic and rubber materials, meaning that even under extreme conditions, the potting compound will not support combustion or cause flame spread, providing the highest level of fire protection for energy storage battery packs.
In practical applications, energy storage battery packs typically use dense arrangement with complex internal structures, placing strict requirements on the fluidity and filling properties of potting materials. The mixed viscosity of HY-9050 is 2500±500 mPa.s, belonging to medium-low viscosity liquid with good fluidity. It can fully infiltrate every corner of the battery module, filling complex geometric structures and avoiding bubbles and voids. Meanwhile, the product has an operating time of 15-30 minutes and a curing time of 2-4 hours, significantly shortening the production cycle compared to traditional potting materials, making it particularly suitable for large-scale mass production of energy storage battery packs.
The operating temperature range of HY-9050 is -50°C to 200°C, capable of adapting to energy storage system applications in various extreme climate conditions. Whether it's outdoor energy storage cabinets in the severe cold regions of the north or industrial energy storage systems in the high-temperature environments of the south, HY-9050 can maintain stable physical and electrical properties. The product has excellent adhesion to various materials including metals, plastics, and electronic components, forming a firm bond with battery modules and improving overall mechanical strength and vibration resistance.
