The application method of manual mold silicone rub...

1. The manual mold silicone rubber is a two-component flowing liquid, the component A is silicone rubber, and the component B is curing agent. Generally, the amount of the curing agent is 2% ~ 3%. For example, take 100g of silicone rubber and 2g of curing agent, and mix them evenly.  (Note: the proportion of the silicone rubber and the curing agent should be accurately weighed by an electronic scale, the mixing proportion of curing agent can be followed above when the local temperature at about 25℃.) If the local temperature is at 10℃, the maximum amount of the curing agent can be 5%; if the local temperature is at about -5℃, the curing agent will not react with the silicone rubber, and the silicone rubber will not be cured for a long time whatever amount of the curing agent is added; if the local temperature is at 38-45℃, 1% curing agent is enough. 2. Firstly, the master mold or the product to be molded should be handled well, because if the mold or product has not been sanded or polished, the mold and product are made of the silicone rubber will not be good and smooth enough or perfect. 3. Deairing handling, after the silicone rubber and the curing agent are mixed evenly, take it to deair. The mixing of the silicone rubber and the curing agent will appear air bubbles, if not deairring, the silicone rubber mold made will have many air holes which will reduce the tensile strength and molding times of the mold. Thereby, it directly influenced the product's quality. 4. The operating method for making multiple-piece mold or slice mold:  Brushing or pouring the deairred silicone rubber onto the master mold or product. When you make a multiple-piece mold, you have to paint a layer of release agent or insulating agent on the product or mold to be molded before brushing the silicone rubber. (note: please brushing it evenly.) After 30 minutes, paste a layer of gauze or glass fiber cloth onto the surface of the product to reinforce the strength, and then brush the second layer of silicone rubber. After the silicone rubber dried, use the gypsum or resin to make an outer mold. 5. The operating method of mold pouring: the method is used for a smoother or simpler product. It has no molding line and can save time and labor. That is to inclose the product or model to be molded with plastic board or glass plates, and then directly pour the deairred silicone rubber onto the product. After the silicone rubber is dried, take out the product, then the mold is finished. (Note: silicone rubber with low hardness is generally required to make pouring mold, it is easy to demould and will not damage the product inside the silicone rubber mold.) The above is all the application and operation processes of the manual mold silicone rubber.
