Addition-Cure Mold-Making Silicone Rubber HY-E625 — Industr

Product No:HY-E625
Brand:Hong Ye Silicone
Product Usage:Ideal for industrial prototype molds resin and polyurethane casting GRC and concrete architectural elements food-grade chocolate and baking molds vacuum casting rapid prototyping investment casting wax patterns film and TV prop replication candle and soap molds and medium-to-large sculpture reproduction. Compatible with gypsum cement epoxy resin polyurethane wax and low-melt alloys.

HY-E625 is an industrial-grade addition-curing liquid silicone rubber manufactured by Shenzhen Hong Ye Jie Technology Co., Ltd. Designed for professional mold makers who demand uncompromising precision and extended tool life, this 25 Shore A translucent silicone combines a platinum-catalyzed crosslinking system with a high-tear-strength polymer matrix to deliver molds that hold tight tolerances across hundreds of casting cycles.

What sets HY-E625 apart is its engineered balance of flow and structural integrity. At 18,000–22,000 cps, the material flows easily into undercuts and fine surface details without slumping on vertical walls — a critical advantage for brush-on and pour-on mold techniques alike. Once cured, the resulting mold exhibits exceptional elasticity, a tear resistance of ≥22 kN/m, and dimensional stability that keeps cast parts consistent batch after batch.

For international buyers, HY-E625 is backed by Hong Ye's 25+ years of silicone manufacturing experience, a 6,000 m² production facility with 220+ tons monthly capacity, and full compliance with FDA, REACH, RoHS, UL, and CE standards — making it suitable for export to North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asian markets.

Why Choose HY-E625

Ultra-Low Shrinkage for Repeatable Accuracy Curing via platinum-catalyzed hydrosilylation releases no by-products, so shrinkage stays below 0.1%. A 200 mm master pattern yields a mold within 0.2 mm of the original — eliminating the costly rework and pattern scaling that plague condensation-cure alternatives.

Extended Mold Life, Lower Cost per Casting With ≥22 kN/m tear strength and ≥5.5 MPa tensile strength, HY-E625 molds withstand repeated demolding even with aggressive undercuts and abrasive fillers like cement or GRC. Customers routinely report 800–1,200 casting cycles per mold, cutting per-unit tooling cost by 40–60% versus commodity silicones.

Food-Safe and Environmentally Certified The platinum catalyst system is odorless, non-toxic, and FDA-compliant for food-contact applications. Whether you are producing artisan chocolate molds or industrial casting tools, HY-E625 meets the regulatory requirements of major export markets.

Thermal Stability Across Extreme Conditions Service temperature ranges from -60°C to +200°C, covering cold-climate storage, heated curing ovens, and exothermic resin pours. The silicone retains its elasticity and release properties without hardening or cracking.

Dual Mix Ratio for Process Flexibility Available in both 1:1 and 10:1 (Part A : Part B by weight) configurations. The 1:1 ratio offers a longer pot life (45–60 min) for large, complex molds; the 10:1 ratio accelerates demold time for small parts and fast-turnaround production runs.

Recommended Operating Procedure

  1. Surface Preparation — Ensure the master pattern is clean, dry, and free of release agents containing sulfur, tin, amines, or heavy metals, which can poison the platinum catalyst.
  2. Weighing — Measure Part A and Part B according to the selected ratio using a calibrated scale.
  3. Mixing — Stir thoroughly in one direction for 2–3 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of the mixing container to ensure homogeneous blending.
  4. Degassing — Place the mixture in a vacuum chamber at -0.095 MPa for 2–3 minutes until all visible bubbles collapse.
  5. Pouring / Brushing — Apply the degassed silicone to the pattern in a thin stream from a low height to minimize bubble entrapment. For brush-on molds, apply multiple thin coats.
  6. Curing — Allow to cure at room temperature for 4–6 hours, or accelerate at 60°C for 2 hours.
  7. Demolding — Carefully peel the cured silicone from the pattern. The mold is ready for immediate production use.
