If the product or mold you want to copy has not been polished or polished, the model or product is not smooth enough or has defects and imperfections, the silicone mold made must also have defects and imperfections, then the product turned over must also have defects and imperfections. If you plan to brush the mold, fix the mold on the board with the putty, smooth the putty by hand with water, and cut off the excess sludge around, so as to maintain the beauty and operability of the sludge. Step 3: stir according to the mix ratio of liquid silicone rubber and curing agent / catalyst, and make sure to stir evenly. If you have a vacuum machine, the effect of foam drainage is better. You can choose according to the amount of glue. It takes a few minutes, but not more than 10 minutes. Otherwise, the silicone rubber solidifies immediately and turns the silicone rubber into a piece by piece, which can not be painted or poured, resulting in scrapping. If there is no vacuum pump, the amount of curing agent can be reduced, which can prolong the fixed time and release more bubbles. Step 4: make silicone mold According to the product structure, pattern, size to choose the mold manufacturing method: pouring mold or brush mold. 1. in general, it will be easier to fill the mold. It is suitable for products with simple pattern and large size. It is to enclose the products or models you want to copy with rubber plates or glass plates or templates, and pour the silicone rubber directly into the products (at this time, vacuumizing and bubbling treatment can be carried out again). After the silicone rubber is dried and shaped, take out the products and the mold is shaped (Note: if the mold line is not made to save labor and time, the soft silicone rubber is generally used for the pouring mold, which is easier to demould and will not damage the products in the silicone rubber mold; if the mold line is to be made, the relatively hard silicone rubber can be used as the mold.) 2. If you use brush mold and add several layers of glass fiber cloth, the toughness, tear resistance and shrinkage resistance of the silicone mold will be better. The operation method is as follows: When the liquid no longer flows after the first layer of silicone rubber is applied (at this time, vacuum exhaust bubble treatment can be carried out again), add a layer of gauze on the silicone rubber layer, then brush a layer of silicone rubber evenly, and then paste gauze. After adding several layers of gauze in this way, the service life, deformation resistance, shrinkage resistance and turnover times of silicone rubber mold will definitely be improved a lot, so as to save cost and improve efficiency. (Note: after the silicone rubber is solidified, make a slot on the edge to make the mold not dislocation; in addition, it is recommended that the silicone rubber mold be put into production 24 hours after completion, so that the mold life will be better.)
