        Textile screen printing silicone elastosil is a free-flowing, ready-to-use silicone rubber that vulcanizes either at room temperature or at high temperatures under the influence of almospheric moisture.

        Textile screen printing silicone elastosil can be used for printing of sealing patterns for on deverse substrates like steel or sulphur containing or sulphur free cylinder head gaskets by silk screen printing.

        Some filler may settle during transport and storage, to ensure a uniform mix, the components should be thoroughly stirred prior to use. Silk screen printing silicone elastosil is a moisture curing silicone sealant. For this reason the curing rate strongly deends on both temperature and atmospheric humidity in the surrounding. Silk screen printing silicone elastosil can be applied with standard silk screen printing equipment. Silk screen printing silicone elastosil cures under the invluence of moisture from the air, colors may be obtained by addition of 3-5% pigment paste if desired. After addition the material has to be mixed carefully.  




TEXTILE SCREEN PRINTING SILICONE STORAGE
        The best use before end date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked fro quality assurance reasons.   


TEXTILE SCREEN PRINTING SILICONE SAFETY NOTES
        Screen printing silicone elastosil releases during cure a total of 4% butanone oxime. These vapours should not be inhaled for long periods or in high concentration.
