Application and Operation Instructions
Step 1: Preparation
Prepare HY-916 Part A (silicone) and Part B (curing agent), digital scale, stirring rod, vacuum degassing machine, pad head mold, mold release agent, gloves and other tools. Ensure the mold is clean and dry, apply a thin uniform layer of mold release agent inside the mold and let it dry.
Step 2: Weighing and Mixing
Accurately weigh Part A and Part B by weight ratio 100:2. For example, take 100g Part A and add 2g Part B. Use a digital scale for precise weighing with error within ±0.1g. Inaccurate ratio will affect curing results and pad head performance.
Step 3: Stirring
Stir Part A and Part B thoroughly for 3-5 minutes. Scrape the bottom and side walls of the container to ensure uniform mixing without streaks. Stir gently to avoid introducing too many bubbles. The mixed silicone should have uniform color without obvious color difference.
Step 4: Vacuum Degassing
Place the mixed silicone in a vacuum degassing machine and degas for 5-8 minutes at -0.09MPa negative pressure until no more bubbles rise to the surface. Step 5: Mold Pouring
