The revised EU REACH regulation officially comes into force on June 6, 2026, imposing strict restrictions on cyclic siloxanes D4, D5 and D6. The cosmetics sector is granted a one-year grace period until June 6, 2027, for full compliance. Export-oriented silicone enterprises are accelerating formula adjustment and third-party testing to avoid customs detention and order losses.
